Preparing for Your Home Remodel?

Start Here…

You know what you like… but pulling it all together feels overwhelming.
If you’re planning a kitchen remodel, bathroom renovation, or full home remodel and want to avoid costly mistakes and regret, Preparing for Your Home Remodel is where I want you to start.

I created this podcast to be one of the tools you can use to educate yourself on what actually goes into a remodel—so your renovation can run smoother, with less stress and more confidence.

Why I Started Preparing for Your Home Remodel

I’ve learned that remodels don’t have to feel chaotic—but most homeowners aren’t taught how to prepare for one.

You usually get one chance to remodel your home.
I’ve had many.

I’ve been:

  • A designer with a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design

  • A general contractor

  • A project manager

  • A business owner running my own design firm

And along the way, I’ve made mistakes—lots of them. From scraping popcorn ceilings without knowing what I was doing to repainting kitchen cabinets without labeling a single door. Those mistakes are exactly why I do what I do now.

I don’t want your remodel to be my learning curve.

What This Podcast Is About

Preparing for Your Home Remodel is about one thing:
making renovations easier.

You don’t have to hire a designer to do a remodel—but you do need a design. You need a plan. And I know not everyone has the budget for full-service design help.

That’s why I’m here—to give you guidance, education, and practical tools so you can still create a beautiful, functional home, even on a tight remodel budget.

The 3 Pillars of an Easy Remodel

Everything I teach on the podcast is built around the three things that truly determine whether your remodel runs smoothly—or completely off the rails.

1️⃣ Budget

We talk about money—because every remodel has a budget.

I pull back the curtain on contractor pricing, invoicing, and where homeowners overspend …

so you can save money and spend it on the things that matter most in your home.

2️⃣ Design (Your Plan)

Whether you DIY your design or hire it out, you must have a plan.

  • What are we doing?

  • What products are we using?

  • What fixtures, materials, and finishes are being selected?

Without a clear plan, decisions get rushed—and regret follows.

3️⃣ Organization

Organization is where stress disappears.

When your remodel is organized, you:

  • Know where decisions live

  • Can answer contractor questions confidently

  • Avoid last-minute panic

If I can get organized, you can too—and I’ll show you how.

Who Preparing for Your Home Remodel

This podcast is for you if:

  • Your home feels outdated, but you don’t know where to start

  • You’re worried about budget overruns

  • You want clarity before hiring contractors

  • You want to enjoy your renovation—not just survive it

What You’ll Walk Away With

By listening, you’ll gain:

  • A clear understanding of how remodels actually work

  • Confidence in your decisions

  • Fewer surprises and less stress

  • Practical tools for kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, and full home renovations

My goal is to help you get to the other side of your remodel without regret—because you don’t know what you don’t know until it’s too late.
